Here at Function Design Furniture our main objective is to create something that exceeds the customer’s expectations and will last a lifetime.
I started Function Design Furniture in 2010 as a sole cabinet maker and now proudly have a team of 24 people. Our joinery, furniture and cabinetry is designed and manufactured by our own team in Killinchy Co. Down.
We have recently built a brand-new workshop this includes a spray paint shop facility which would rival the very best out there. We have also created a beautiful showroom in the barn where our old workshop used to be to show case some of our work.
My team comprises very talented designers, some of the best carpenters and joiners that can basically make anything out of wood. We have an exceptional fitting team that are also cabinet makers by trade so as you can imagine nothing is a problem. We have paint shop specialists who have a vast knowledge and experience of applying both new and traditional finishes. We also take on new apprentices which we like to immerse in our wealth of knowledge and hope to bring through the ranks to time served cabinet makers. All of this is over seen by myself as I play a very active role in the manufacturing and fitting.
